On Monday, October 5 at 5:00 PM, join us at Sushi-san Lincoln Park to celebrate the launch of Season 2 of Supper with Sylvia from Emmy Award-winning Chicago journalist Sylvia Perez. For this special live podcast, get a front row seat as Sylvia sits down with siblings and restaurateurs RJ, Jerrod and Molly Melman for a fun, intimate and candid conversation about growing up in one of Chicago’s most iconic restaurant families and now helping lead Lettuce Entertain You into its next generation.

Matcha Class with MOKOMA Tea

Join us in the DOJO at Sushi-San Lincoln Park for a one-of-a-kind matcha class with instruction by Matcha Master Jason Rice of MOKOMA Tea and SUGOi Sweets!

The class opens with the fundamentals of Japanese tea culture and the essentials of matcha. From there, guests will learn to whisk their own bowl of tea, finishing with everyone’s favorite: a iced matcha latte featuring SUGOi’s signature flavors.

Throughout the class, enjoy a selection of chilled Sushi-San favorites, sweet treats from SUGOi Sweets, and cold brew. Both dairy and non-dairy milk options will be provided. Each guest goes home with a DTK matcha bowl & chasen to continue practicing at home, and MOKOMA Tea will be available for retail purchase.

Sake-san

Our private-label impression, brought to life by the talented team at Daimon Brewery in Osaka, Japan. Our own sake sommelier, Daniel Bennett, traveled to japan to inform the production.

The connections to our sister city are reflected in the label, designed by Alex Payne, with a bridge connecting the skylines of Osaka, Japan to Chicago. As Osaka is the “food capital” of Japan, this sake was brewed specifically to pair with the bold flavors that paint our own city’s culinary landscape.

An award-winning regional brewery, Daimon Shuzo has crafted a sake that is approachable, bright, crisp and food-friendly.
